Resident-Centered Design Journey: A Home Built with Heart

At Tara Homes, we believe that the environment plays a fundamental role in the healing process.

Finding a safe, supportive space is crucial for those in recovery, and we’ve designed our home with our residents’ needs at the forefront. Here are a few approaches we’ve implemented to help future residents:

  • Use of soothing colors: we’ve chosen calming colors throughout the house to promote peace and tranquility, essential for personal growth and reflection.
  • Open space for community: recognizing the value of connection, we transformed our entire backyard into an open space designed for socializing and community building, perfect for gatherings, activities and events that foster a sense of belonging and support.
  • Natural light: we’re creating bright, welcoming spaces by maximizing natural light, bringing the outdoors in. Natural light brings warmth and calm, creating a healing space where residents can feel at peace and open to recovery.
  • Meditation nook: we recognize the importance of mindfulness in recovery, so we’ve included a dedicated space for meditation, a cozy corner where residents can find solace and practice self-care.

Every detail of our home has been carefully crafted with the vision of providing a sanctuary for individuals in recovery. By focusing on compassion and quality, we aim to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes long-lasting recovery.

Stay connected with us as we continue to make a meaningful impact in the community!
